Welcome to the Mali Rising Website! The Mali Rising Foundation is a non-profit organization established to provide better access to education for millions of children around the world. The Foundation’s goal is to increase significantly the literacy rate among individuals and communities in underdeveloped nations. To achieve this goal, we commit our effort and resources in three areas:

1. Providing adequate facilities and learning materials for proper education.
2. Training teachers and ensuring access to active learning techniques.
3. Strengthening and improving existing, yet under-funded educational institutions.

The Mali Rising Foundation is committed to making education a reality for children in rural areas of Mali, West Africa, building the foundation for real and lasting positive changes.
As of Summer 2007 we have provided for the construction of 4 schools in rural areas of Mali and have sent hundreds of computers, chairs, desks, chalkboards and other school supplies to existing schools throughout Mali. Please join us as we continue to give the gift of education to the children of Mali.
