The work of MRF is guided by three main principles:
Local Initiative
- The process to build a school originates with the communities;
- Upon completion of schools, the village assumes full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the schools.
Empowerment
- We utilize the existing capacities and resources of the villages.
Cooperation and Partnership
- The collaboration with government stakeholders ensures that our schools are adequately staffed and receive long-term sustained support.
The Little Heroes Foundation helped us complete a school (Little Heroes Academy) in the village Mana and is now ready to inaugurate a second school in the village of Tanima.
